Our unique Tae Kwon-Do+ programme works with you - we will talk with you, we will catch up with you and we will work alongside you to help you achieve your goals. Thats right, this programme is all about YOU!
In our initial meet we will discuss the key points you would like to achieve and agree some SMART goals we will be working towards. SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time Based. We will not give you goals which will be demotivating, they will all be specific and reviewed so we can keep track of your progression. We are able to offer expert advice, and anything we do not know we will be able to refer you to the right contacts.
Throughout our programme you will be able to have regular catch ups and reviews, discussing things you may have never discussed before, helping you overcome your barriers and reach your goals.
Benefits of our Tae Kwon-Do+ programme?
1) It's Educational:
One of the most important reasons why our programme is unique and reliable - we know what we're talking about! We are not only trained in fitness and physical exercise; nutrition and lifestyle also play an essential role in the overall picture when it comes to your health.
2) They know the perfect form:
Minimise risk of injury and maximise results! Having a personal trainer along side you is invaluable to correct posture and improve technique. We also work with individual needs and have been trained in exercise adaptations when it comes to medical conditions.
3) YOUR unique requirements:
Everyone is different, everyone trains different, everyone has different goals - and that means everyone's abillities and requirements are different when it comes to exercise. Your personal training plan and profile will outline your individual goals and how to get there!
4) We will help you set realistic goals:
Everyone wants to achieve their goals straight away, whether they be weight loss, cheese grater abs or Hulk-like strength. But these are not always achievable, and if you don’t hit them then you may be discouraged and backslide.
A Personal Trainer will not only help you set realistic goals that you will be able to achieve - if you put in the effort, of course - but they will also be able to keep you on track to hit those goals. For example, if your goal is to achieve a ‘bikini body’ for summer, it’s not just about doing 100 crunches a day for a month to work your abs. It’s about altering your diet to eat the correct foods, mixing cardio and weights to work the right muscles, and setting a timeframe in which this can be achieved.
5) Its not just fitness:
The whold idea of the Tae Kwon-Do+ programme is to move away from learning traditional Tae Kwon-Do patterns over and over again. We are also trained in establishing a healthy lifestyle with nutritional advice and can provide basic assesments in order to check your physical health against UK government reconmendations.
6) Improve your mental health:
It has long been known that physical exercise can help with mental health issues such as depression - and it is a reconmended part of treatment by many medical health professionals. Having a personal trainer to help with exercise can support you choosing the right exercises - increasing the release of endorphins and making you feel happier.
We are also a shoulder to cry on! We want to know about how work is going, we want to know what's wrong; this may result in unhealthy eating and degressing from your goals and when we can discuss this, your overall wellbeing will improve.
7) Helping you form good habits:
It can take weeks to form good habits, and even longer to break bad ones - and trying to do it on your own is hard work. Having a Personal Trainer is like having a good angel on your shoulder encouraging you in the right direction. They can help to argue with the "bad angel in your head", and keep you on track to achieve your fitness goals.
8) They challenge you:
A personal trainer is your life coach, nutritional adviser and encourager all in one. But we always want to strive for better. You can do 100 sirt ups easy? Great, lets up the intensity! You can do 10 press-ups? Lets aim for 20! We will push you, we will challenge you but most importantly we will motivate you!
Our Tae Kwon-Do+ programme with fully qualified personal trainers allow for all these benefits - contact us diectly today for more information or to book your initial health assesment!
