So, how are our classes different to other Ladies Only Martial Arts?

1. EXCLUSIVELY FEMALE INSTRUCTORS & STAFF:

Our committed team comprises solely of female instructors and staff, ensuring a secure and comfortable environment for all participants. Unlike other martial arts classes, we strictly uphold a policy of exclusive female instruction and management in our Ladies Only classes, prioritising your privacy and modesty. Our instructors hold top-tier qualifications and insurance, guaranteeing a safe and inclusive experience at our well-maintained premises that prioritize your security and privacy.

The venues we use also respect the privacy and security of our members.

2. STRUCTURED CURRICULUM & TRAINING APPROACH:

Our ladies-only TAGB Tae Kwon-Do classes go beyond basic exercise routines, adhering to the traditional syllabus and grading system of authentic Tae Kwon-Do. While being a female-focused setup, we maintain the same rigorous training standards as any other Tae Kwon-Do class nationwide, ensuring no compromise in the quality of your training experience.

3. WE MODIFY MOVEMENTS TO SUIT YOU:

Understanding the diverse needs influenced by religious beliefs and cultural considerations, we offer tailored modifications to accommodate each participant's specific requirements. Our classes are designed to be adaptable, allowing for personalised adjustments, such as the exclusion of certain movements to respect cultural preferences and individual comfort levels.

4. COMMITMENT TO GROWTH & EXPANSION:

As advocates for women's empowerment in martial arts, we are actively expanding our presence nationwide within the TAGB network. With over 600 schools currently, we are dedicated to perfecting our ladies-only Tae Kwon-Do approach, continually striving to eliminate discrimination and stigma in women's martial arts. We value feedback and continuously evolve to ensure every woman feels welcomed and supported in our dynamic Tae Kwon-Do community.

EMPOWERING CLASSES

Empowering women in a secure and nurturing environment, our program cultivates both physical and mental resilience, guided by female mentors who empathise with and cater to women's unique journeys and requirements. This supportive setting encourages the development of self-assurance, leadership acumen, and essential self-defence capabilities, fostering a holistic sense of empowerment and growth among all participants.

REMOVING BARRIERS FOR WOMEN

Respecting the diverse individualities of our female members, we actively dismantle the barriers and prejudices often encountered by women in martial arts settings, accommodating cultural, religious, and personal beliefs with understanding and inclusivity. With our team of female instructors and the assurance of a secure environment, we prioritize the mental tranquillity and well-being of every student. Embracing a modest dress code policy, we aim to create a space where each participant feels completely at ease and fully embraced, fostering a sense of acceptance and belonging throughout their journey.

MANY PHYSICAL BENEFITS

THE TAGB

The TAGB (Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain) is the largest governing body for Tae Kwon-Do in the UK. Founded in 1983 with the goal of promoting and facilitating Tae Kwon-Do across Great Britain, the TAGB has grown to become the largest and most successful Tae Kwon-Do practicing organisation in Britain, with more than 25,000 members and 600 schools nationwide.

The TAGB implements standards, training and certification for Tae Kwon-Do practitioners and schools under their organisation.

The TAGB is not concerned with its own development. That is why it has played a leading role in the reunification of British Tae Kwon-Do into one body. In 1988, the TAGB helped found the British Tae Kwon-Do Council (BTC), this being the only governing body of Tae Kwon-Do to be recognised by the Sports Council and Sport England.

Instructors and schools must meet the TAGB's criteria to gain and maintain membership status. This includes having qualified instructors, implementing the TAGB training syllabus, holding the required insurance, and following codes of conduct and safeguarding policies. Membership provides accreditation along with access to TAGB programs, events, seminars and competitions. TAGB membership ensures the highest quality, accredited Tae Kwon-Do education to students.

The TAGB facilitates Tae Kwon-Do development through regional and national competitions. They also organise camps, workshops and gradings. The organisation strives to make Tae Kwon-Do completely inclusive and accessible with programmes for people with disabilities and other underrepresented groups.

Overall, the TAGB governs and nurtures Tae Kwon-Do across Britain from beginner to elite levels and their standardised structure and curriculum allows for consistent Tae Kwon-Do training nationwide.
