✓ Encourage your child always to play by the rules and to respect the instructors, officials, and volunteers.
✓ Encourage children to play, do not force them.
✓ Praise your child’s good efforts whether they win or lose.
✓ Applaud all good play.
✓ Never ridicule a child for losing or making a mistake.
✓ Children learn best by following a good example.
✓ Learn the rules to better understand what you are looking for / commenting on.
✓ Instructor’s decision should never be questioned.
✓ If any problems / questions / concerns discuss it with the instructor – not other parents.
✓ Do not question the judgement of and show your appreciation to all officials, instructors and helpers.
✓ Condemn the use of violence, profane language, and any form of abuse.
✓ Think of how you can best help the instructors and / or the club.
✓ As a spectator you must never enter the field of play / activity.
