Students Triumphant in National Black Belt Grading.

Students attended Black Belt gradings hosted by the TAGB, Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain, between Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd April 2018. The bi-annual Black Belt Grading event saw around 500 tae kwon do practitioners travel nationally from as far afield as Scotland to Bristol to test their skills against a five strong panel of highly skilled 8th and 9th degree GrandMaster Examiners.

Locally Stacey Cockbill, a Birmingham paralegal supermom who trains at West Bromwich TAGB and Claire Dixon, a keen physiotherapist, from Tipton TAGB school put in an outstanding performance in patterns and free sparring to be promoted to the grade of first degree black belt.

Assistant Instructors Georgia Elwell, from Dudley TAGB and Jack Didlock, from Willenhall TAGB along with Robyn Middup-Jones, who trains at Kidderminster TAGB, were all awarded second degree black belt status.

The group celebrated further success with Tipton TAGB instructor Craig Mason training extremely hard whilst running his schools across three years to achieve his third degree black belt status.
